One of the first things we will ask you to do is tell us about yourself. We want to know about you as a person with a past, a present and a life still full of quality. We also would like to know the things you like to do and what connections you have with other people and other places. We will also ask you about the things you miss or wish you could do. This all builds a picture of you. It helps us to shape the care you would want in the way you would want it and will also help us to decide services which we will all agree on at out Annual General Meeting.
As a member of the Robert Owen Domiciliary Care Services Limited you will be offered a two pound share. This will give you the right to vote at our Annual General Meeting on the things that have been suggested by our members, those of you using our Services. As a not-for-profit organization this helps us to invest the money generated from the care business to create new community initiatives which our members want. A bottom up approach and decided by you.
We promise to keep our organisation approachable, contactable and working for you, the members.

Personalised Care Plans
You will have expectations before you meet us of how you would like your care to be. We need to know what that vision is and how we can best work with you to realize this.
We will need to discuss with you what your health and care needs are.
You will know how best to cope with your health needs but we will need to know what we can do to support you. It may be that you require assistance to get to a hospital appointment or to remind you of when to take your medications. You may need a hand to get out of bed and have personal care needs, help with preparing meals and or getting out to a favorite place in the garden or help with simple gardening tasks.
